. Do wish it was longer. The picture depicting Beekman farm/house/shop were few and far between, so I was disappointed overall. The bad side of writing like this is sometimes scenes get confusing and you don't really know who's doing what, or what's really going on, but that's all here and there. It is rare that I find an author and series that keeps me so captivated, and generally get annoyed because authors seem to recycle previous work with different names and places. The dialogue for one of the younger men, son of a primary character in the earlier books, is so stilted and contrived as to be painful. VERY high quality at a very reasonable price.
